Silvio Rodriguez – Ojalá

[latitudes]

Can you articulate why some things are just better than others?  Understanding something’s quality is a very philosophical concept and whether or not something’s value is intrisic or subjective is debatable, but sometimes you just need to STFU and accept that it just boils down to It Is or It Is Not (better).  In this case,  listening to this live recording of Ojalá is just better than listening to Nickelback.  It just is.  Accept it.  In fact, it’s better than most things.

No explanation will ever suffice to explain why this song is an experience that will never leave you.

The Nippon Girls

[latitudes]

TGIF Ya’ll

“Get Your Nippon” with The Nippon Girls. Jump off and Celebrate this weekend, cause it’s a long one. If you need a place to start and/or need to refresh that tired, weak and worn out par-tay playlist then get yourself some Japanese Pop. This sensational late 60’s movement that seems fitting for any Tarantino flick will most likely get you laid. It’s just that amazing. Seriously.
